Nintendo's E3 Conference
I watched the conference. Some real good stuff.
My favorites:
1. Wii Version of Legend of Zelda. - Though it does put me at an impasse. If I'm going to buy this one or both. I may very well do both if it comes with the Wii.
2. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Looking like a very awesome way to end the trilogy. Some of the stuff you can do with the Wii-mote looks spectacular.
3. Super Mario Galaxy - If this, Metroid, and Zelda are all released with in the first 3 months of the Wii debut, it could be great thing for the system. Mario's debut is almost always a showcase for the system abilities and I don't think this'll be any differant.
4. Yoshi's Island 2 - Oh boy. One of the best 2D platformers ever. It looks real great.
5. Red Steel - A FPS that if done right could be very good.
6. Super Paper Mario - I love the style of Paper Mario so I think I'll love this. Though don't you notice that this year we could possibly see four Mario platformers? Yet all 4 are distinctly differant from one another. We've got a traditional Mario platformer, the 3D platformer, the quirky one, and the Yoshi platformer (though the first Yoshi's Island was a sequel technically, you would be hard pressed to say Yoshi's Island was a typical sequel).
7. The lucky bastard who got to play tennis with Miyamoto, Iwata, and Reggie. I don't even like tennis and I would have loved to do that.
8. The speaker thing built into the Wii was pretty cool.
Only things I wish they would have told us was their plans for online Wii, price, and release date.
