Games I'd Like to See Remade

Since I'm kind of bored I figured I'd list off some games I'd like to see remade in the future. Much like Metroid: Zero Mission for the GBA, REmake and MGS:TTS for the Cube, or Mega Man Maverick Hunter X for the PSP which I hear is real good.

Games I'd Like to See Remade

1.
Metroid II: Return of Samus - I just beat this game on a marathon run a few weeks back and think that it deserves a similar remake to Metroid: Zero Mission. Add new areas, maybe new Metroid types and expand on the story. Since this and Fusion are tied pretty closely in the storyline, you could also introduce the X in some small way.

2. Resident Evil 2 - The remake for RE was great the remake for RE2 would be even better. In many opinions (mine included) RE2 is the best of the old style Resident Evils. Once again, improving imagery, adding new wrinkles, etc. would just expand and reintroduce a great game. Hell I bought RE2 for the GCN and that was a rip-off. I'd easily buy a remake.

3. Silent Hill - I've heard rumors to this extent but with the new Silent Hill movie coming out and looking to be fairly competent as both a videogame movie and a movie in general, remake this classic would be a great way to really freak us out again. I remember Silent Hill giving me nightmares back when I first played it and that was with the PSX graphics. I could just imagine how freakin' terrifying it could be with next-gen graphics.

Well those are the game I'd like to see remade. There are probably tons more to be remade but those are the ones I've really thought about.
