Random stuff.

Been watching Bleach at my anime club over the last semester and to start this one. At first I wasn't sure about it but once they got something of a high point going the show just got lots better. One of the best things about the show though is the rather well-defined characters out of a fairly large cast. Not to mention fairly well-animated and some good fighting I can't wait to see how this arc ends up, despite the rather DBZ-ish nature of it. From what I understand it is going to go a long while but from the looks of it they aren't going to dawdle on one fight usually getting them wrapped up in 2 or 3 episodes. Which is nothing compared to DBZ's 20 episode fights.

Also get the manga if you are not into getting fansubs since the anime has for some reason not been licensed yet. Or at least not that I know of.

Also on a side note Fullmetal Alchemist's end is only 7 episodes away. I'm really enjoying it. Though I am hoping for some good fights in there.

And in gaming I've mostly just been Animal Crossing: Wild World (far superior to the GCN one), Kirby Canvas Curse, SSB:M, and X-Men Legends II which I am playing with 2 of my suitemates and another friend. As fun as it was with 2 people (I played lots of the first Legends with a roommate from a few semesters back) it is even better with 4. Kirby CC is great and a well-done use of the touch screen. And you just can't go wrong with SSB:M. Just getting 3 other people who like the game has gotten me playing better and I hope there will be a Melee tourny at ACEN this spring. I think I could do pretty well for myself.

Also I can't wait till Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess comes out. My Gamestop says April 4th just over 2 months to go for what will probably be the last great GameCube game. I'm so excited but I'm trying to go on an "avoid Zelda info at all costs" binge for it ruined some parts of TWW for me and I want to be back for OoT when I didn't know what was going to happen.

In Mega Man news I found out that the Game Boy collection is finally going to be released next month. I am quite excited. The more Mega Man the better as far I am concerned.

Finally another parent is claiming videogames made his kid into a violent thug. This time an 8 year old boy threatened a 7-year old girl with a gun in attempt to rob her, at Day Care. Of course just forget the father's rather violent history but pretend that a videogame, even worse a violent videogame, can teach a kid how to use a gun because controllers are such great imitators of the actual feel of a gun in your hand. I'm pretty much counting the days till Jack Thompson swoops in on this like a hawk to further his inane anti-videogame crusade.
