Well Its Official....
...Nintendo is completely insane.
I'm just speechless now.
Update: Now I'm okay. I'm still not convinced but this could be good if Nintendo can get 3rd parties to do it right, which about equals fat chance.
This is a side panel from the Revolution. Now if they somehow allow it so 3rd parties will be able to use a GameCube controller to control games that won't take advantage of the controller then great but if not then the Revolution may be doomed. I'll still buy one and I still have faith in Nintendo but sometimes I don't know.
Update: Now I've thought about it and am in a better place with this now. I just really wasn't expecting that. I was expecting something a bit more conventional and that isn't. In actuality the response I've seen has been positive so that may be something from a community that tends to want to do nothing more than insult everything Nintendo does.
I'll have a more well-thought post about this sometime later, maybe.
