My 10 Favorite Animation Anything

I'm a lover of animation. From Disney, Anime, Warner, etc. I love watching it. I probably watch more animated TV than I watch anything else which is great. And since I'm bored again I will be presenting My Top 10 Favorite Animation Anything. This includes, TV series, online cartoons, anime, movies, etc.

My Top 10 Favorite Animation Anything

1. The Simpsons - The first "adult" cartoon that I really got into. The Simpsons in it's prime provided much in the ways of clever jokes, stories, etc. The Simpsons was revolutionary and anyone who has enjoyed them will agree with me.

2. The Incredibles - The best CG movie ever. Mixing the mundane with the fantastic and delivering a fantastic movie for all ages. Brad Bird and Pixar need to be congratulated for creating such a great movie along which mixed togethor several genre types perfectly.

3. FLCL - The craziest 6 episodes of anime I've seen. FLCL provides stellar animation, great music, a great story (though confusing), and just all around stellarness. If you like anime and want something short and very sweet see this series.

4. Aqua Teen Hunger Force - At first I was like "WTF?" Then I was like "LMAO". The best of the Adult Swim originals line-up features consistently hilarious stories, jokes, and characters. Even if the animation is relatively low quality it is somehow perfect.

5. Family Guy - A show that was killed long before it's time yet found new life thanks to Adult Swim. The first 50 episodes were great and it looks to be a continuing trend as the new ones are proving to be well worth the wait.

6. Futurama - Another Fox show that was killed far too soon. A clever Sci-Fi parody with tons of social commentary and even a bit of a heartstring tugger at times. Fox should be shot for letting this show get canceled way before it's time.

7. Ranma 1/2 - The first anime I got into without provocation from an outside source. The adventures of the aqua gender switching Ranma and his friends and family provide some good comedy and martial arts action.

8. Sea Lab 2021 - Hilarious Adult Swim spoof of the '70s drek cartoon Sea Lab 2020. It entails the misadventures of inept Captain Murphy (R.I.P Harry Goz) and the rest of the equally inept crew. Never making sense ever it was one of the best of Adult Swim's lineup.

9. Batman: The Animated Series - Still stands as the definitive Batman outside of the comics. A seriousness rare for a cartoon aimed at kids it managed to keep what made Batman, Batman and not tone him down for the audience.

10. Azumanga Daioh - A change of pace in my anime favorites. Not an action anime. No monsters or magic within 100,000 miles. Just the story of 6 female school friends and the adventures they have from sophmore to their graduation. Definately a sort of Seinfeld-comedy for anime.
