IGN's Top 100
Well they've finished it. Pissed off some people. Made others happy. And still others just didn't care. Opinions are fun. Now I'm going to go through the 100 and give my short take on each game. Let's see how many I say "Never Played".

92 - Dragon Warrior - NES - Played just enough to get a feel for the game.

89 - Alone in the Dark - PC - Never got a chance to play.
88 - Final Fantasy VII - PSX - Does not deserve to be in the Top 1000, much less top 100. Trash.
87 - Thief II: The Metal Age - PC - Never Played
86 - Final Fantasy X - PS2 - Played just enough to hate it.
85 - Prince of Persia - PC - Maybe the controls actually work on the PC. Who knows.
84 - Ultima VII: The Black Gate - PC - Never Played

44 - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - My favorite SNES platformer.
43 - Soulcalibur - DC - Great fighter.
42 - Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec - PS2 - Never played. Never wanted to play.
41 - System Shock 2 - PC - Never played.
40 - Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution - PS2 - Played a bit of 1 and 2 but never any of 3 or 4.
39 - Doom - PC - First really violent game played by me. But OMG! I'm not a violent killer person. But according to Joe or Jack I should have shot up my school by now. I want my money back!
38 - Madden NFL 2004 - Multi - I skipped that year though I played a bit of it anyway.
37 - Wave Race 64 - N64 - Amazing water effects for the time. Fun racer to.
36 - Command and Conquer: Red Alert - PC - Never got into C&C like I did Starcraft.
35 - Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty - PC - Never played
34 - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - Multi - The best of the bunch. I played a lot of the DC version.
33 - God of War - PS2 - May be overly a little high but very awesome.
32 - Resident Evil 4 - GCN - This is just a great breath of fresh air to the series. But where is RE2?
31 - Sim City 2002 - PC - I love Sim City but never played this one.
30 - Halo - XBox - Overrated but still fun.
29 - Goldeneye 007 - N64 - Best movie game ever and best console FPS ever.
28 - Half-Life 2 - PC - Never played.
27 - Burnout 3: Takedown - I dunno still just a racing game but with more crashing.
26 - Final Fantasy 2 - SNES - Never played
25 - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Ann - PC - Never played.
24 - Tecmo Super Bowl - NES - Fun but I don't see how people can think this is the best football game ever.
23 - Super Mario Bros 3 - Well this is my favorite Mario 2D platformer. I also think it is the best.
22 - Half-Life - PC - Never Played
21 - Deus Ex - PC - Never Played
20 - Ms. Pac-Man - Arcade - Okay. I can deal with it. It is a fun arcade game.
19 - Metal Gear Solid - PSX - My favorite PSX game.
18 - ICO - PS2 - Showed that Sony is capable of making great unique games.
17 - Star Control 2 - PC - Never played
16 - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - PSX - Never played. Really want to.
15 - Super Mario Kart - SNES - Great fun for all.
14 - Rome: Total War - PC - Never played
13 - Chrono Trigger - SNES - Only played a small bit.
12 - X-Com: UFO Defense - PC - Never played
11 - Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - SNES - Why isn't this in the Top 5? There will be hell to pay. You hear me!? HELL TO PAY!!!!
10 - Super Metroid - SNES - Only played enough to get a good taste for it.
9 - Star Wars: Tie Fighter Collector's CD-ROM - Never played
8 - Street Fighter II - Arcade - Great 2D Fighter. There should have been more on this list. Like MK II.
7 - Starcraft - PC - My favorite RTS. Good stuff. Though I'm not very good.
6 - Sid Meier's Pirates - PC - That is one gay looking pirate on the cover. Never played.
5 - Super Mario 64 - N64 - Awesome 3D Platformer. Still has yet to be matched.
4 - Sid Meier's Civilization II - PC - Never played.
3 - Tetris - Multi - The Game Boy version is still a hoot to play.
2 - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - N64 - Tied with ALttP as my favorite game ever. God I love Zelda.
1 - Super Mario Bros. - NES - Once again I commend IGN for probably the most insightful #1 around. I don't agree with them (considering Mario 3 is better) but I can see where they are going with the game that was big in reviving the near dead videogame industry. Kudos to them.
