Despite what I said about Sony's system, MGS4 definately gots me salivating. I'm a bit of MGS-fan so that game looks very sweet. Saw it on Saturday. Decent movie from a videogame adaption standpoint. Not great but good. Definately helps to have a background in the games to understands the general themes.

Yoshi's Island and 1-Ups

I've been playing the Player's Choice Rerelease of Yoshi's Island. One of my most favorite platformers from the SNES and it still retains the magic it had back in the day. But were 1-Ups always this plentiful? The game isn't exactly easy but I won't have to be worrying about a Game Over screen it seems. This is probably how it was on the SNES but man it seems like they overdid it a bit.

The best I've gotten is 49 so far.Overall the "game" seems like a real good idea and is more fun than it sounds. If Nintendo was smart they'd make a PC version or something so they can distribute to schools. Otherwise I don't think the game will make the same kind of waves here as it did in Japan.

I was just playing Tetris DS and got to 20 (201 lines, 281659 points) which is the highest I've ever got. By the end of game the pieces weren't really falling as much as they were just appearing on the screen. Then there were themes of games I've never seen before.Man that was intense. I was actually breathing a little hard during it.I love Tetris.
